Salò – S. Bortolomeo – Passo della Stacca – Bagnolo – Guine – Ronchi di Roè - Salò On the slopes and in the near hinterland of the mountains rising on the west bank of lake Garda there are villages of historical and cultural importance, with tourism at the highest level, providing a safe and healthy leisure for cycling fans, in addition to a beautiful scenery with nearly aerial views and roads leading through the typical Mediterranean vegetation. Coming from Tormini riding along the freeway SS45 bis, just before the turn that leads to Salò you reset the cycle computer. Follow the busy road slightly descending until km 2,500, where you turn left direction S. Michele - S. Bartolomeo. Ride up the panoramic road leading you at km 6,300 through Piglino (località Crocetta). We turn left direction S. Bortolomeo and at km 7,600, after a more challenging part, just before entering the center, you take the narrow road going uphill on the right. Follow the white-red trail marks and the indication for “Ca 'del Rocol”. After 200 meters, passing by a villa, keep to the right on the un-surfaced road and once you get to the bend (which leads to a house) continue straight on following the white-red marked mule track which emerges at a crossroads at km 8,650 (Passo della Stacca). Take the path in the middle, which goes uphill for a few meters and follow the trail mark on a rather impassable but almost completely ridable tract. After 750 meters pass the gate blocking the path and continue along a flat tract. Pass the gate in front of a farm (the road is state property) and at km 9,600 you will arrive in Bagnolo. After a few meters you find the “Santuario della Madonna” where three cart roads are starting. Turn left onto the central road. At km 10,700 you pass the small cluster of houses and continue down the hill. Take the cart track going downhill. Arriving at Guine at km 11,450 you turn left direction Roè Volciano alternating unpaved and asphalted sections arriving on a paved road at km 13,250. Once arrived in Roè Volciano turn left at the crossroads and pass through Gazzane – Rucco and Trobiolo. At km 15,500 the course finishes on the main road 45 bis.
